We couldn’t have had a better maternity shoot experience. Victoria was so awesome, she was fun, she provided back up outfits, and she was able to provide lots of direction with the posing and the location. I was pretty clueless as to what I wanted, so I told her something naturey with flowers and I want to feel natural. She found locations that would work. The location she choose was breathtaking (secluded) even before the pictures were taken. She was nice, personable, and made two awkward people feel comfortable/close/connected and that was reflected in our pictures. She captured out skin tones appropriately which highlighted our warmth. I found her from a random Pinterest post. Since the first conversation, she communicated efficiently and answered all of my questions in a timely fashion. She truly made us feel beautiful. I took the time to write this review so others would know she is a great photographer and you would be getting a great experience. Also, we drove from Baltimore for the photo shoot. She accommodated us on a holiday weekend, and the turn around for proofs was about a week.

I am so happy I found Victoria! I love her style of photos and the way she works with you to capture the perfect shots! I was having my first baby this May and I asked her to do my maternity shoot as well as my daughter's newborn photos. I am not one to be in front of the camera, but I am so glad I did the maternity photos, and if you are wondering if that is something you want to do, I say go for it. Especially, with Victoria. She really captures the beauty of pregnancy at a time when we may not always feel so beautiful (even though we are!). I love the fact that she offers a client closet in which she has beautiful boho pieces that flow with your baby bump and are so flattering. It takes some stress out of trying to put together an outfit for a shoot. Even with our newborn photos, I utilized her closet for myself and my daughter and she helped coordinate my husband's own outfits as well. With the newborn photos, she is so patient ensuring the baby is comfortable and if they need to be fed or take a break, it is no problem! She really captured beautiful images of our little trio that show how much love we have for our little miracle! BOOK HER! I certainly will be for future shoots. 🙂

It was a true pleasure working with Victoria at Victoria Vasilyeva Photography! She made the experience of capturing our maternity pictures so easy and pleasant. Victoria was very professional and had everything organized and prepared ahead of time. As an expecting mother, it was a luxurious experience. I was given three dresses from her collection that were all stunning. Between the outfits provided, the stunning studio, and the beautiful prints we couldn't have asked for anything more.

Victoria was overall just wonderful! She was very friendly, personable, and professional! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a maternity photographer! I myself am shy in front of the camera, but she made me feel confident & beautiful by helping me with poses, and her constant reassurance. Her studio is near downtown Apex and she provided me with all the outfits I would need for different looks. Not to mention her studio has multiple different backdrops which makes for more beautiful pictures! The best phrase to describe my final product photos, would be “I’m in love with all of them”. Overall, a wonderful person, and an amazing photographer as well!

I just received images from my maternity photoshoot with Victoria. Oh my...how to choose? The photos are all gorgeous and I want them all!!! I mean I look amazing with my bump thanks to Victoria's magic (even before retouching) and that's all that matters. The whole process was a breeze, from booking to consultation about the wardrobe, to the photoshoot in her studio. The new studio is conveniently located in downtown Apex and very tastefully decorated. Victoria made me feel safe, warm and confident, I loved the creative process, playing with props, the boho style is new for me and I'm glad I trusted Victoria's vision, the photos turned out beautiful! We worked with Victoria on a newborn shoot recently and had a great experience! She went above and beyond to accommodate a date so that grandparents could also be included which was truly appreciated! Communication with her was easy and prompt prior to the shoot and home visit on the day of shoot was super smooth and efficient (not always assumed given you’re working with a 2 week old baby.) The photos themselves turned out great - We had a good selection of photos to choose from and the process was easy. Victoria was very skilled and precise with instructions and assistance during the shoot and that translated to how beautiful the photos turned out. Will be cherished for a long time!

It seems I have found my one and only photographer! Victoria is not only my soulmate, but also an incredible talented photographer and a great person! Within a year we had three sessions with her, and she did a wonderful professional job. I love all the pictures she took. She absolutely feels people who she is working with and she definitely has a good eye for great shots. Victoria is easy to work with and very skilled. She knew exactly what to do when directing us for our photos to capture an absolutely natural and candid look. She expertly directed our one year old daughter (if you have kids you know how nearly impossible that is) and the result was the most amazing pictures we’ve ever taken. I would 100% recommended her and she was worth every penny. I will be hiring her again for future family photos, no question.

We went out on a limb and wanted to try a new photographer to capture some special moments with our 18-month old daughter, and we are so SO thankful we found Victoria! From the very first correspondence I knew this would be the type of service I was hoping for: prompt, professional and most importantly, very attentive to our vision and aspirations for the shoot. She provided so much help from choosing coordinating outfits (which was a stressor for me!) to helping with inspiration for the shoot. The unedited pictures we received were GORGEOUS and completely exceeded my expectations, so I was COMPLETELY blown away when I saw the edited photos. It was so hard to choose just a few with our package as all of them were so beautiful and special. I am still in awe of them and look at them daily (our family is too!). We can't wait to hang and display these in our home!

Victoria is incredible! We worked with her for newborn and family photography both in our own home and at her studio. At home she went the extra mile - brought all types of set items and outfits and was great with both our little one and pet. Her studio is also gorgeous and a great backdrop for a variety of photos. The best part was that in addition to great photos, she is so sweet, prompt and professional so the experience was really enjoyable (and memorable) for our whole family.

I’m very pleased with my experience with Victoria! She hosted my maternity photos in her brand new studio space that just took my breath away from the minute I stepped in the door. This new studio is a neural boho dream, with filtered natural light from the large windows at the front of the space. She provided dresses for me to wear which were absolutely gorgeous and made me feel so special. Victoria communicated well during the session and guided me as I posed. She told me how beautiful I looked and it just really boosted my confidence. The photos were delivered to me in a very timely manner and edited beautifully. Victoria was great. She answered all my questions before our shoot, and then walked me through the whole process while we were there. Her studio is beautiful and calm, a perfect place for a newborn photo session. The turn around time was also great, and again Victoria is wonderful about communication. I was a first time mom who had no idea what I was doing. I lost my soul dog the day before our photo shoot. I had my in laws at my house. I’d only given birth a week prior. And yet, Victoria swooped in, captured the most incredible moments, and made it seamless. I literally don’t know how she did it. Not having to worry about mine or the babies outfit, her patience and grace, and the unbelievable quality are just some of the reasons I’d recommend Victoria to every single family. 6 months later and I still look at these photos daily. Capturing those first few days, when everything is such a blur was a great decision, but specifically choosing Victoria was the best decision.

I really wanted some maternity pictures, and there are SO many options in this area! When I came across Victoria’s portfolio, I fell in love with her style! She had a great variety of moms-to-be who were all shot so beautifully, and I loved the way she used textures, colors, and natural settings to highlight what made each subject special. Her moms-to-be also all looked so comfortable and natural, which is huge for me - I could tell that she would do her best to make me feel at ease and get the most out of my photoshoot! Even though I reached out to her relatively late in my pregnancy, she was able to make room for me on her schedule and get every detail in order! She listened carefully to my family’s story, the vibe I wanted in my photo, and even our location request. Having a client wardrobe with a wide range of sizes was huge, too, and we were able to pick out a number of styles together that were just perfect for what I wanted! On the day-of, she was friendly, professional, and accomodating, and my husband and I were able to just show up, relax, and pose - she had thought of absolutely everything, from jewelry to easy changing locations! The pictures turned out stunning, even though the weather conditions were a bit challening - honestly, they were even better than I’d hoped, and my husband and I will treasure them always! Working with Victoria was amazing, and I would highly recommend working with her if you’re looking for a friendly, thorough maternity photographer with a great sense of style and amazing attention to detail.

HIGHLY recommend!! From the beginning, Victoria was prompt in communication and very clear and thorough with what to expect. She showed she was super comfortable/confident/experienced in her craft, giving suggestions before I even knew what to ask! My husband and I felt a little awkward in front of the camera at first, but Victoria immediately made us feel comfortable by giving us examples of how to move and how to pose and giving active feedback. Her voice is so calming! I knew we were in great hands and I can't wait for our newborn photoshoot!
