The Phillips Farms pumpkin patch is open from September 16th to October 29th, 2023. Hours of operation are Thursday – 5pm-8:30pm, Friday – 3pm-6pm, Saturday – 10am-6am.

The Family Farm on Avent Ferry
The Family Farm on Avent Ferry is a family-owned and operated farm in Holly Springs, NC. They are open rain or shine every day during their seasonal hours of operation. However, depending on the weather conditions, they reserve the right to adjust their hours. Interacting with the animals is allowed, but it should be done under the supervision of an employee. The farm houses a variety of animals, including cows, donkeys, and horses, and they kindly request that all visitors show kindness and respect to these animals.
Good news for dog owners – The Family Farm is dog-friendly! They do ask that all dogs remain on a leash, and visitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.

An interesting historical tidbit about the building unveils its rich past as Broadwell’s Grocery, once owned and operated by James and Carolyn Broadwell. This venerable structure has stood for over 120 years, with its origins tracing back to the 1890s. Upon acquisition by the new owners in late 2020, they were informed by the broker that the old store building was deemed “unsalvageable” and assigned no value. However, upon setting foot inside, they quickly recognized its hidden potential. Despite the exterior’s significant decay, the store’s core remained remarkably intact, offering a captivating journey back in time.
In the autumn season, Grasshopper Farms NC welcomes visitors with a delightful array of pumpkins and a host of fall-themed activities. These include a sprawling 4-acre corn maze, picturesque hayrides, and exciting special events like the Maker’s Market scheduled for September 30th, 2023.
